Whilst in Georgia is dedicated to a simple idea: the more you know, the better you travel. Georgia is an achingly beautiful country, steeped in history, rich in history, and blessed by nature. Its capital, Tbilisi, is the country’s beating heart reflecting the creativity and diversity of a country still inventing itself after soviet reign and wars. Georgia has so much to offer, and we will document it here.
Authors Whilst in Georgia is run by its founder Amy Jones. She cycled from her home in England to Georgia in 2018 on her trusty steel bike, Eden. Having found a home in Tbilisi, she decided to set up Whilst in Georgia in 2018 to help others discover the relatively unknown corner of the Caucasus region. Amy also writes for Georgia’s biggest English-speaking newspaper Georgia Today and the Silk Road travel website, Caravanistan.
